Cost, time and convenience
Person-hours add up every traveller's time on 27 Dec, 31 Dec and 5 Jan. Set a value for that time to see the combined figure.
Road times use operators' published 1 hour 15 minutes for private transfers and 1 hour 30 minutes for shared services. Waiting times, hire desk time and last-mile time are estimates, listed under Assumptions. Winter traffic can lengthen every road option.
Booking links
A live result used your dates. A published price is the advertised starting price, and New Year rates can be higher.
Hire prices come from about 25 sellers across Kayak, Skyscanner, Expedia and Rentalcars. Geneva Airport has a Swiss side and a French side, and a car returns to the side it was collected from. “Winter tyres stated” means the listing says they are included.

Road, buses and parking
Tolls, ski buses and parking for your dates.
Buses and train to Le Tour
A valid lift pass is a bus ticket. SKI 15 runs to Le Tour every 14 to 20 minutes from about 08:18. SKI 3 Direct leaves Place Mont Blanc about every 30 minutes, with a gap from 11:10 to 14:40. Line 2 runs all day.
The Mont-Blanc Express stops at Montroc, about ten minutes on foot from the Le Tour lifts, and is free with a guest card.
Without a lift pass, a 7-day bus pass is €10 with a guest card or €19 without. Guest cards are free from tourist accommodation, or €10 from the tourist office for stays in lent homes.
Times are from the 2025/26 guide. The 2026/27 guide is due around 19 December.

Hotel Le Prieuré: €30 a night, covered, limited spaces, height limit. One listing says spaces cannot be reserved. 5 nights is €150.
